EV B2 ASIAN CENTELLA - Elasticising, toning
SCIENTIFIC NAME OF THE PLANT: Asian Centella, Hydrocotyl Asiatic. BOTANIC FAMILY: ARALIACEAE (UMBRELLIFERAE). PART USED: LEAVES. ORIGIN: herbaceous plant from Asia.
Properties and indications: to reduce stretch-marks, to improve circulation and therefore to prevent the formation of cellulite. Thanks to its high content in active principles, such as tannins, sugars and mineral salts, Centella is used for its replenishing action, for the treatment of skin diseases (external use), and with purifying and healing properties (for internal use). Centella also acts on the metabolism of the connective tissues, acting both at the level of the fibroblasts and at the level of the amorphous substance. As a result, the synthesis of the Collagen’s fibres is more balanced, and therefore the healing process of wounds, and skin’s tone and elasticity improves.
