EV B8 BURDOCK – Derma-purifying, depurating and antiseptic
SCIENTIFIC NAME OF THE PLANT: ARCTIUM LAPPA. BOTANIC FAMILY: ASTERACEAE. PART USED: RHIZOME AND ROOTS. ORIGIN: a plant with vertical rhizome and large leaves among which a floral stem grows, branched and hairy, up to 2 metres high. It grows all over Italy, from the sea up to 1700 m over the sea level, in sunny areas.
Properties and indications: thanks to its derma-purifying, anti-septic and bio-activating properties on the skin, the extract is used for the cosmetic treatment of seborrhea, acne and spots; it can also be mixed with body creams for the treatment of cellulite and eczema.
